Indian Females

I am sorry to say but very rarely I find exception to my statement- we find either battered or papmered females . . . . .very rarely normal grown females who can stand up on her own and speak out her brain/ heart!
When I say so, sometimes the lady ("The gentle lady") before me looks "down" at me with frowning eyes and asks, "hey! what do you want me to talk?" As if another moment she will hold my neck . . . .is that normal?
Another statement is in general- Ladies are the worst enemies of ladies . . .. i think its a world wide accepted phrase! But in Indian context we have to understand it like this- the fight between daughter and mother in law . . . ..

Politics of Religion . . . .

India though is a secular country, its politicians are not "neutral" towards religions . . . . .they are "positively" secular or "negatively" secular, never a "neutral" secular! (Its like Indian females - they are either battered or pampered- very rarely you find normal grown females who can stand on their own and talk out their brain . . . . and probably heart . . . more on it later) The reason being that India is basicaly a religious country . . . .. people have survived centuries of invasion and slavery just because of their adherence towards religion . . . . . or probably conditions have made them religious . . . ..
But we should allow the politician's cheap slogans to sweep away our heart! Now its time when Indians should decide by work . . . . .Not by slogans or affilition to the religion . . . .community . .. .

Reservations in India and Creamy Layer

Reservation inIndia is a good way of engineering social justice . . .It was started by / with support of people who were no getting the benefit of the policy . . . .out of pure concern for the country . . . . .citizens. . . now it has abecome more a political issue . . . .specialy its being used by the selfish politicians for their own benefits. . . .it comes in to lime light exactly at the time of elections . . . .then goes to cold storage . . . . .if government wants to realy implement it, it can do that without any opposition . .. . . . without caring for the oposition . . .. landlordship, privy purses of royal families, nationalisation of banks, landsheiling act are the examples when people lost bigger benefits . . .their role as a ruler . . . . .. . . .. . . but no, then they (politicians) will miss the headlines, so they want to cut the chicken on the cross road . . . .to show what they eat!
More over how come a rule will last for ever without being outdated and losing the context. So is the reservation policy! It was aimed at improving the downtrodden, there were so many floss in its implementation; but in last more than 50 years it has done good for few if not many people . . . . .If they continued exploiting this policy . . . . . they will never allow others in their same community to come up. Also it will have a bad effect on the society grossly. Bad effect you should come and see in Tamilnadu where you will not find even a single Brahmin some time in government instituions/ departments . . . . its in the phase of reverse discrimination . . .. . more over once upon a time medical college of Chennai- Madras medical college used to harbour the top professionals- now you find hardly few. Once upon a time there used to be large contribution in UPSC, IIT. This Year only less than 9000 students appeared in IIT and UPSC results you can find number around 30! The reason is that here Brahmins are usualy docile and the only group other than them in forward community is Chettiar- Vaishya Baniya. The bigger fact is that the castist combine here knew how to extract work from the government machinery in a castist manner- not like our mulayam or laloo who actualy didi not know how to work.
Concept of creamy layer will avoid Tamilnadu like situation and make sure that the benefit reaches to the lower strata realy and the needy ones. Otherwise you can see in Tamilnadu that people of same family keep taking the benefit for generations together and the the once who couldn't take the benefit in earlier generations . . . .remained unefected/ devoid of any benefit till today! This way we will have a group of people from every community who will be benefitted again and again . . . . and will never allow the reservation policy to be useful for the needy ones. More over they (those who are benefiting for generations) are the ones against creamy layer concept! As they are having the risk of losing the "royal" traetment. Make these people out of this categroy and soon you will that these people have started shouting against the reservation policy altogether- then you ask them about their attitude/ responsibility for the socity/ towards the weaker section . . . . . . . .. till that time their statements should not be taken impartial and so decisive.

My religion

I was born in a hindu family- so hindu if it means freedom, tolerance . . . .
I feel Islam gives courage to die for a cause - i am a muslim if it means "musallam eeman" and brotherhood . . .. .
Jainism - if it means pious life style
Sikh- if it means bravery with never say die attitude
Christianity- if it means moderation as per the conditions

Human life, god, religion and politics

People discuss alot about few things which include the above mentioned ones. I have been listenning to the fight since my childhodd as a son of an ethist. Finaly i believe, god is necessity of human life, whether it exists realy or not, doesn't matter. Its like u take the pills as adviced by the doctor, if it helped u, u praise the doctor, if did not, u curse him . . . . . u go to other doctor . . . . again their. But god is necessary, after all ur time wasting u will find urself at some time or another to pronounce "god"! Like u shout for doctor in dire emergency, may call even the same one who failed for some one near and dear to u!Religion is totaly different in the sense that after all, its man made and most of the time by a single person and so imperfection is natural. In that case older the religion, safer/ more practical its. More democratic its. more open it is. But religion survives due to peoples faith/ belief . . .mostly/ some times blind . . . .At the end, politics is the dirty way of life who takes benefit out of ur weakness. If religion is ur weakness, politician will exploit that! Administration asks for the tax for what ever u have/ u own! u have religion, pay tax! If religion is the weakness of the society, politician will exploit full society. God, religion and politics mixed together, is a deadly combination! Thats why Marx said it as "opium". Mind u he did not tell opium for god, he told so for the religion. There is a medical joke- Neutoric is the one who makes the castle in the air, psychic is the one who lives in it and psychiatrist is the one who collects the rent (and enjoys!!!!) !God is the one who made the world, religion makers devided it, human beings fight for the boundaries and politicians enjoy the game.As i said u earlier, its an ever lasting story/ discussion . . . . if u need help, please tell me . . . Rajarappa and Me

Rajarappa is one of the 12 Shakti peeths in India. parts of the burnt body of Shail Putri (daughter of King Himalaya who had married lord shiva and reached her fathers's house uninvited and had burnt herself when felt insulted) had fallen on these 12 places while lord shiva was doing "tandav" holding his wife's body on his two hands. Rajarappa is geographicaly located in a fantastic place where two rivers - Damodar and one more- i don't know the name meet. It is a water fall actualy and some one said that this is the only place where a female river falls in to a male river! the temple is having a dejeted apearance- reminding the situation of the administartion and the socioeconomic status of the people aaround/ in the state. if it would have been in any other state, it would have become famous as vaishno devi, kali mandir in kolkata . . . . i have been an aethist . . . .in my child hood, i used to half kill the ants and used to chalange the "god" to protect that if he can! and invariably god used to fail to protect those ants . . . .so many died due to my aggression! in the same line in 2001 when i visited the place for the first and the last time till now, i had thrown a chalange to devi. I had a ganglion (inflammatory swelling from the membrane which covers the bones around the joints) on my wrist. some times it becomes painful- any way it looks awkward! it can only be treated surgicaly . . . .I thought in my mind- fine if devi exists my swelling should subside- as in my opinion it can't happen. But surprisingly by the time i came to Ramgarh, it had disapeared! this time god haas won! by default or by rule . . . . I have thought in my mind that i will organise medical camps whenevr i can at that location! if some one of you is from there pleasae comeforward to help me . . .. Dr. Manish Kumar

Cheap Politics: An All India phenomenon

Its sad that people of AB stature are targeted like this. This also makes possible to guess the poor condition of the people at lower socio- economico- political level . . . . But is there any hope? Is it not that this has become the fate of our middle class/ non politician masses - until unless he/ she has political protection? Including foreign guest like taslima nasareen- just for politics! Tamilandu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and even the state like west bengal feel that every one in this country is trying to take away their bread! Then people in northern India hindi heartland are suffering from caste mania! They are still in the shell and not able to think out of that and the politicians enjoy that. other states like gujarat the condition of religious minority- i don't know i have not been there and if talk just because others say, my neighbour who makes good sweats may kill me!
Altogether its a poor state of affairs. The reason being that for centuries we have been ruled by people not concerned with us! Earlier they were foreigners, now even these our own people turned politicians have learnt the same lesson- they do what is beneficial for them without bothering for us. We need some rama, some chandragupta/ chanakya combine, akbar or gandhi to keep us united! any one around? if no, wait for me . . . . .

I read Kalma

Yes I have read Kalma! As I say so, i feel i might be misguiding you by hiding the fact that I had tried to become Muslim. No, I am a Muslim! I read Kalma guided by the chief Imam of the Tamilnadu government. It has personal reasons which I don't want to discuss here. As I feel "Akbar" was the greatest Indian ruler, i added his name in mine. I will try to keep the meaning of Musalman as "mussallam eeman".

Bhumihars- near past, present and future

Bhumihars have palyed major role in development of society in the 19th century and eaarly years of 20th century. To name a few Mangal Pandey, Swaami Sahajananda Saraswati, Acharya Chatrusen, Ramadhari Singh Dinakar . . . . . . . but after the rule of Sri Krishna Singh in Bihar due to high handed attitude of Mahesh Prasad Singh, Bhumihars started suffering setbacks. First was severe anti campaign by the media against Mahesh Prasad Singh who was the most eligible cnqaadidate for the chief ministership of Bihar. It was not that after that no one from Bhumihars could ever become Bhumihar, they coudnot maintain their strength. Actualy speaking after Sri Krishna Singh, there have been no mass leader in Bihar do something good for Bihar.
At present most of Bhumihar youths take pride in discussing their past. Fact is that they don't have the substance of Sri Krishna Singh . . . If some one among them will have . . . . . they have everything to be the best. so future lies in the hard work . . . .

Bhumihar- history

There are so many theories of origin of Bhumihars. Starting from Lord Parashuram who was a Brahmin but had fighting spirit to chanakya who was a baackroom manager of Chanadragupta and maade him the kind and later emperor even though Chandragupta could not understand that, people give so many hypothesis. The fact is that no one knows. As they are the strongest people in compaarision to the surroundings, it has become fashion to discuss about them. but most of the time people go wrong way. I think problem is that it has been very vibrant community jumping from here to there and so the usual stream of ancestors which is seen in case of other communities is not seen.
There have been few real sensible discourse about origin of Bhumihars. People like Dr. Sachchidanand Sinha and Acharya Chatursen haave left behind enough intellectual work to reckon with. Even according to them a single theory is not possible. The few which sounds interesting anad possible are as follows-
(1) They are the Brahmins who helped the administration - slowly left the vedic rituals (i mean life dependent on that).
(2) They are the Brahmins who joined Budhdhism and when came back to the folds of Hinduism, were not accepted by the Brahmins as normal Brahmin.
(3) They are the Brahmins whose kings were aarrested/ killed by different invaders and they had no option but to go for farming
I think all the three reasons are possible.

why "Akbar" in my name?

I feel and percieve india's diversity till core of my heart. Among the rulers i feel only few people have even tried to be larger enough to over come the diversity across India. To start with probably it was lord Rama. After that probably it was Chankya and Mauryas who established the "Indian empire" for the first time. After that it could have been Shershah who could rule India only for 10 years. Following that it was "Akbar" the great. "Akbar" itself means great. After "Akbar" it was Gandhi. And afater Gandhi we are yet to get some one. I am trying to fill the vacancy.
Among all the above mentioned names "Akbar" sounds greatest to me as he belonged to a group which was relatively alien to the part of the land, was having very strong dictations regarading life . . . . . . so on and so forth. But "Akbar" the great could overcome all these and managed to keep the country intact for 63 long years . . . .

About myself

I am from Rampurvishun village of Samastipur District of Bihar in India. My parents are simple(mother a primary school teacher and father a small farmer). They always taught me of secular and independent thinking and decent behaviour- the so called components of good "sansakar".
As early as when I was in 4th standard, i thought of being a doctor, in 6th standar i felt that a physician is capable of just writing medicines but a surgeon can do surgery which is more difficult to learn; as well as can write medicine, and by 10th standard i understood that neurosurgeon has the most difficult job at hand! I decided to be a neurosurgeon! with god's grace, i am at the verge of becoming a Neurosurgeon. My childhood dream is to come true.
i had farely well social inclination as well due to my fasmily background. i have my own independent thought regarding every socio- politico- economico- psychological problems in this world. i hope and wish one day i will be able to help people in this world with my noble ideas.
