Karunanidhi Versus A K Antony

Yesterday's A. K. Antony's statement about present anti-corruption movement is very realistic, very true and very enthusiastic. I am happy and proud that we have some grounded people like Mr. Antony around us. Yes, the present anti-corruption drive should aim at 100% transparency. That's the only way and a panacea against corruption. no other form of law will be ever successful.
In contrary, if you see the role of DMK patriarch Mr. M. Karunanidhi (called as KALAIGNAR - artist) has just auctioned all his credit earned all through his life. In fact if you analyze their moves retrospectively, it gives a clear indication of planned conspiracy against the nation. If you remember, they were the only one who moved out of the BJP - NDA hegemony immediately after the election results were declared. In fact 2004 elections, BJP had not fared worse than 1999 elections but its allies like Akali Dal and JDU did badly and that was the main reason for their inability to reach the magic number. Congress, not willing to ask for support from Mulayam Singh, needed DMK support. Now this party being part of the earlier government, knew the weaknesses and loopholes and was ready to jump to grab the opportunity if any. So, they wanted only few ministries - telecom, heavy industry, road transport . . . and for that they took a written promise from Pranab Mukherjee before giving the letter of support! And when they were not awarded those very ministries, the document signed by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee was shown to the media and withdrawal from the government was threaten! SO, they knew what departments were juicy and they opted for that specifically. They exploited those departments unto the hilt!
. . . And now this 85 year old man wants to preach the bad result of bad friendship! . . . wants to pull out of the government complaining that the government is conspiring against his family! . . . This all despite the fact that two of his kept were left out of the corruption charges by the corrupt CBI officials.

I strongly feel, some one should file a case and this gentleman should be tried for sedition. He had opted for the selected ministries in the central government with a plan of corruption in his mind . . . . conspiracy of corruption . . . And never forget, it was BJP - NDA government which allowed them to go ahead with the idiotic "first come first serve" rule which had favoritism in its root.
